Hello friends,

The drive to Northampton this morning was beautiful! All the trees were sparkling from the frost and the sun was creating such good light. It made me really appreciate the winter months. I mean don't get me wrong, I don't look forward to shoveling and scrapping the car on those cold mornings but winter really is a beautiful time of year. I'm trying to get up to Vermont on Thursday to do some snowboarding. I'm really looking forward to that!

This past Thursday, I had the pleasure of playing with Peter Kim and Mark Nomad up at the Roadhouse. It's always nice to see those guys. Some of the folks from the usual cast of characters even brought some "new" material for us to try. Good work everyone! I look forward to seeing them again.

Friday, I played the Roseland Ballroom in NYC with Martin Sexton. It was my first time playing that old venue and I really enjoyed the experience. We drew over 2500 people and the energy in the room was very inviting. As I stood on stage during the sound check I could really feel the history. I love those old rooms! It looks like that is gonna be the last show with Martin for a while. He said he was taking a little bit of time off for the holidays.

In other news, my good pal/webmaster/superhero design meister Tom from Standard Design has entered a contest to win a Home Depot grand prize of $25000! Check out his totally awesome short movie. The contest is partially judged by the number of views, so make sure you watch it all the way through without stopping or it won't count.

Last but not least, I will be playing for the Performing Arts Center of Easthampton (P.A.C.E.) CD release show on December 15. The show will feature many of the valley's gifted songwriters and musicians and is intended to raise funds to keep PACE strong. Please come support this great local art center. Check the calendar for more info. Thanks and hope to see you out there!
